All Students: Keep a notebook or e-document nearby as you progress through this course. This document/notebook—your Teaching Toolbox— will serve as a crucial resource throughout the course, allowing you to compile essential notes and insights. Pedagogy for Winds and Brass aims to equip you with the skills necessary for effective teaching, and you will encounter a wealth of material, tips, techniques, and valuable resources. It is important to capture information that you would like to reference beyond this course.

As you progress, take note of helpful hints, strategies, and any links that you find useful for future reference. Remember, your compiled Toolbox will contribute to your midterm and final grade, so dedicate consistent effort to its development. Once your toolbox document is set up, you can proceed with the rest of the module.

Longy Students: Create a Word Document titled "Your Name_Teaching_Toolbox_2025." Save this document in your designated homework folder. You will receive an email providing access to your homework folder during the first in-person course session.
