Pedagogy for Winds and Brass is designed for wind or brass performance students. Nearly every professional performer ends up teaching in some capacity. Whether that’s private lessons, chamber coaching, running a sectional, or conducting a band, this course will give you the tools you need to be successful as a teacher. Students officially enrolled through Longy School of Music will meet in-person once a week for 2 hours. The online module navigates students through the readings, videos, and assessments between classes.
